A company called BAE Systems is working to design "autonomous, multifunctional collection of miniature intelligence-gathering robots that can operate in places too inaccessible or dangerous for humans".
What's the big deal you ask? This.
Science Save Me
While clearly not a fully fledged Arachnobot 9000, we don't want any miniature arachno-minions running around. Why not make it a robotic squirrel or slug. No one ever suspects a robotic slug.

You have to be kidding me? 9000 of them connected with a neural network coming together like a power ranger and destroying tokyo, then flying apart and living singularly in households until the time is ripe for destroying the rest of us.
I agree. They should make a robot child so it can use its little child-robot arm to clean parts of machines too small for humans to reach.
