Any true scientist would not recommend going out and getting a Tamandua at once, because they are endangered:
"Tamanduas are listed as endangered by CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species), since some local hunters suffer from the superstition that they habitually kill dogs, and because the extremely resilient tendons in their prehensile tails are used to make strong rope."
